Competitions, clinics, concerts and more, the 51st annual Eau Claire Jazz Festival is sure to take the city by storm from April 21 – 22! The festival kicks off on Friday, April 21 with student competitions happening across the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus. Guest artist headliner concerts, the 52nd Street celebration and many other performances and festivities will be following the competition to ensure a jazz-filled weekend for all festivalgoers. Guest artists Doc Severinsen and Carl Allen will be playing alongside the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Jazz Ensemble I at the State Theatre during both nights of the festival.

Tedd Gullickson

Tedd Gullickson directed high school bands in Minnesota for over 30 years bringing his Mankato West Jazz Band to numerous festivals, national events and the Minnesota Music Educators Convention. He has played in numerous groups, backed national artists and is currently manager and drummer for Southern Minnesota's Real Big Band. Gullickson has taught and served as a clinician at several high school and colleges and serves as an adjudicator of jazz and percussion events for the Minnesota State High School League.
